Mothership NYC Presents: Sound Shapes is an ongoing, experimental exploration between a painter; a composer/ vocalist/ musician; and a sound healer. Together, we explore how sound orchestrates the dance of energy and matter as the catalyst of creation and perpetual transmutation. Appearing in mediums such as sand/water, Cymatics patterns are the visual manifestation of sound. Sol recreates in liquid paint these circular, symmetrical shapes made by vibrations while listening to her collaborated healing frequencies recorded during live tepee sessions open to all.
